The giant serpent is one of the most recognizable sculptures in Galleta Meadows, an open-air art installation located in Borrego Springs, California, within Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
With all the buzz around a possible super bloom in the desert this year (fingers crossed), I found myself digging through some old photos from the last major wildflower event here in Borrego Springs.
From a local’s perspective, it’s amazing to watch the desert transform day by day, and more folks come in from out of town to see how beautiful it’s become.
